Project
Resilience is a private organization based in Washington, DC. We offer teaching
materials and products, provide training
and disseminate information for
professionals working in education, treatment, and prevention. We promote
a strengths-based approach to both youth and adults struggling to overcome
hardship, for instance family disruption, poverty, violence, substance
abuse, and racism. Our hallmarks are a balanced psychological model that
includes pathology and mental health, a developmental vocabulary of
strengths, and culturally diverse materials. Since 1988, we have been
training clinicians, educators, and prevention specialists throughout the
USA and Canada.
